Brandon Fontenot Johnson
Brandon Fontenot Johnson is a political economist and attorney whose career spans more than twenty-five years at the intersection of law, governance, and public policy. Licensed to practice law in Illinois and Alabama, he brings both courtroom advocacy and strategic consulting experience to Ibis & Rooster, the boutique law and consulting firm he founded in 2024.
At Ibis & Rooster, Brandon leads a dual practice in legal representation and consulting. His legal work focuses on criminal defense, juvenile representation, and family regulation matters. His consulting practice partners with government agencies, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations to build systems rooted in integrity and accountability. Brandon’s practice extends to alternative dispute resolution and civic education.
